[VIC] Melbourne Based Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a customer support and sales role that will be based in Melbourne. Your role is to provide our customers with outstanding customer service, sales and technical support through inbound calls and email.

You will need to be highly self-motivated as you’ll be based from your home in a full-time role, with working hours from 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 2:30pm Friday. Some understanding and previous experience of our industry will be hugely advantageous.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
  • Provide technical service support and sales quotations
  • Offer outstanding customer service, sales and product advice

Skills and experience

  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve within the sales process

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer service
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and outlook as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience in order entry MYOB or MYOB EXO
  • Basic technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and electrical basics.
  • Experience of Quality Systems ISO 9001 would be desirable.
  • An honest and proactive attitude to sales and customer support is absolutely critical.  

 Our New South Wales open position:

[NSW] Head Office Sales & Service Technical Support

About the role

Your role is to provide our customers with outstanding customer service, sales and technical support through inbound calls, email and livechat. You will work within a motivated sales and service team to offer product advice and support to assist our customers. This role is a hybrid between two departments that require additional assistance so the ideal candidate will be able juggle various customer requests and gather information from both the sales team and service team.

This position in based in our Wetherill Park Head Office as a full-time role, with working hours from 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 2:30pm Friday.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and livechat in a timely manner
  • Process orders and ensure their specific details are correct
  • Offer outstanding customer service, sales and product advice
  • Provide technical support and arrange warranty claims
  • Quote and process spare part orders
  • Booking service technician visits to customer sites
  • Liaise with part suppliers and service technicians
  • Arranging spare part postage and delivery
  • Sales team support

  • The ability to understand technical electrical and refrigeration schematics, operating manuals and various controllers

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer service, order entry or similar role
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and outlook as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Quoting and order entry
  • Experience with MYOB systems will be an advantage
